Simple Dollar Tree Hack Results in the Cutest Little Distressed Tray

Who doesn't love a good Dollar Tree DIY? Not only are these quick and easy projects typically inexpensive to make, but more often than not they only require minimal tools and skills, making them ideal for those who don't spend too much of their free time working on crafts.
Take a look at this woman's amazingly chic looking stand, which she cobbled together out of some Dollar Tree wood pieces. This hardly looks like a DIY to us, but instead like something you'd pick up from a high-end boutique!
Check out her video and learn exactly how you can replicate this design for yourself, all for less than the cost of a cup of coffee!
We're obsessed with @thenestdesigns little table, and we're not the only one. The people in the comments were quick to ask a few questions about her process, including how they could make something similar.
One woman even asked about which paint she used to get that beautiful distressed wood finish, which the OP happily answered. "The brown is coffee latte from Folk Art and the white is antique white from Apple Barn," she said.
Somebody misunderstood the design of the craft, asking the OP why she'd install her snowmen upside-down, which gave us a little inspo for how we could take this cute table and turn it into a piece of winter decor.
Obviously, you probably know where we're going here, but instead of making those little beads into something abstract, you could easily paint them white and turn them into mini-Frosty the Snowmen!
Of course, if that's not your bag, or you're just not ready to think about winter yet, there are plenty of other cool Dollar Tree hacks to try out.
Grow Squash in a Laundry Basket
If you want to continue to focus on the summer heat and sun while you have it instead of wishing it all away in favor of snowmen, you can do what this woman did and take care of a little gardening.
All you need is a laundry basket from the Dollar Tree, which will help you to grow whatever fruits and veggies you want to grow in a container garden. In the fall and winter when you're done with these baskets, you can either clean them up and bring them inside for laundry, or neatly stack them in your garage or shed for safe keeping!
Dollar Tree Hacks Are Great for Getting Crafts Done
Of course, we still love the OP's little stand, which is why we're going to keep an eye out for these raw wood pieces the next time we make a Dollar Tree run!
