The last time the state of Iowa performed the Death Penalty within its borders was in 1963. (The Center Square) - Iowa ranks 29th for its combined state and local sales tax rate, better than all of its neighboring states except Wisconsin and South Dakota, according to a report from the Tax Foundation.
