Late rally continues winning streak for Rockers
The Green Bay Rockers answer every challenge from the Lakeshore Chinooks late to salvage a 5-4 win Thursday night. A RBI groundout and two-run homer from Sam Miller made it 3-0 only to have the Chinooks tie it up in the top of the second inning. It would stay that way until the seventh inning when Jake Bold singled in Lukas Torres to make it 4-3. Once again, the Chinooks would tie the game in the top of the next inning when a double brought home the son of Chicago Cubs manager Craig Counsell Brady Counsell to make it 4-4. An RBI groundout in the bottom of the eighth would give the Rockers their third straight win.

Mequon, Wis. – The Green Bay Rockers (8-8) routed the Lakeshore Chinooks (6-9) tonight 10-3 in large part thanks to DH Jake Bold (Princeton). Blizzard look to lock up top seed at Sioux Falls
With one home playoff game locked up, the Green Bay Blizzard are hoping to earn more dates on the calendar when they play the Sioux Falls Storm on Saturday. In their 45-42 win over Jacksonville last week, Max Meylor was an efficient 15-for-18 for 138 yards and four scores while running for the other two touchdowns. A touchdown pass with just over five minutes remaining proved to be the insurance score they needed.
Guins topple Lookouts in offensive affair
The culmination of 24 runs and 29 hits went the way of the Algoma Guins Thursday night as they defeated the Ashwaubenon Lookouts 15-9. The Lookouts jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but the Guins would take control as they scored 10 of the next 11 runs in the game to take a 10-4 lead. Both teams would bring the lumber in the fifth inning, with the Lookouts plating four runs and the Guins answering with three of their own. The Guins tacked on two insurance runs in the sixth inning before the Lookouts ended the contest with one more of their own.
