Former director convicted in daycare theft ordered to pay thousands of dollars
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A former Grand Island day care director convicted of stealing thousands of dollars from the center was sentenced to five years probation on July 10. Andrew Moss, who ran St. Paul's Cornerstone Early Learning Center, pleaded guilty in April to theft by unlawful taking – more than $5,000.

The 2024 Nebraska Celebration of Books (NCOB) will take place on Oct. 12, 2024, in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus Union at 1400 R Street.
