Navarro stops No. 8 Apaches

Thomas Magnus tossed a three-hitter to lead Navarro College to an 8-0 win over the No. 8 Tyler Junior College Apaches on Wednesday in a Region XIV baseball game in Corsicana.

The two teams will play again on Sunday with a doubleheader set for Christus Trinity Mother Frances Mike Carter Field in Tyler. The first game is schedule to start at 4 p.m. Game 2 is slated for 7 p.m. The games were orginally scheduled for Saturday, but possible inclement weather forced the move to Sunday.
