    What's Open, What's Closed: Saltgrass finally opens, Allsup's and Gangnam close, new student apartments to be completed by 2026

    The much anticipated Saltgrass Steak House opened this month at 1516 Centre Place Drive. The award-winning steakhouse is famous for its delectable angus beef steaks and other entree options.

    Locals can enjoy happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. featuring queso fresco with brisket, fried mozzarella and more appetizers starting at $4.50. Drink specials start at $3 for domestic bottled beer and draft beers; well drinks, craft and import beers, and margaritas for only $4; select wines for $5; and select cocktails at $6.
