    6 Colorado universities named among the best in the US

    DENVER (KDVR) — Six universities in Colorado are among the best in the nation, according to an analysis by Money .

    The list included 745 universities nationwide and was created by looking at graduation rates, cost of attendance and financial aid, among other things.

    The six schools included in the list (in alphabetical order):

    • Colorado College
    • Colorado School of Mines
    • Colorado State University Fort Collins
    • Regis University
    • University of Colorado Boulder
    • University of Denver

    Colorado School of Mines received the highest rating of any Colorado school by Money at 4.5 stars. The school has appeared on many other “best of” lists, including U.S. News & World Report’s Best National University Rankings list at No. 76.

    Five of the six universities also made it on the larger U.S. News list, with Colorado College being the only one not included. This college also had the lowest acceptance rate of the six at 16% but the highest graduation rate at 88%.

    Of the six, CSU had the lowest price tag at an estimated full price of $31,700. The most expensive was Colorado College at an estimated full price of $86,500.
