Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone buys Highlands Ranch house for nearly $7M

DENVER ( KDVR ) — A Highlands Ranch house that overlooks the mountains with a tennis court and pool in the backyard was on the market until Michael and Jocelyn toured it.

Head coach Michael Malone hit the Denver Nuggets ‘ court in 2015 and led the team through their first franchise championship .

Now, the coach is investing in more than just the basketball team.

The broker, Tina Christensen, said she threw a catered VIP/broker’s open at the Highlands Ranch house. The Malones came about 30 minutes before it started and stayed for a couple of hours.

Later that evening, an offer came in and Christensen said the house sold for $6.8 million.

While the listing is closed, Zillow still shows some of the best features of the house, which include a tennis court, a workout room, a game room and a wine cellar, along with other luxuries like walk-in closets, a heated five-car garage, six beds and nine bathrooms.

The house is among other multimillion-dollar homes on Skydance Drive, which is just outside of Denver.
