Terrell Davis Reveals Details Of 'Traumatizing' United Airlines Incident

Former Denver Broncos running back Terrell Davis revealed Monday that he was taken away in handcuffs following an incident on a United Airlines flight. The two-time Super Bowl champ claimed that the entire fiasco was caused by an overreaction from one of the flight attendants onboard.

Davis shared a post on Instagram with six images detailing the "traumatizing" events he and his family allegedly endured during a flight from Denver to Orange County over the weekend.

According to Davis's recounting of the events, his son asked the flight attendant for a cup of ice during in-flight beverage service. The flight attendant supposedly "didn't hear or ignored" the request, which prompted Davis to tap the flight attendant on the shoulder.

Davis alleged that the flight attendant shouted, 'don't hit me" before rushing to the front of the plane.

Once the flight landed in Orange County, Davis said that six FBI and law enforcement agents boarded the plane. The agents proceeded to place the Broncos legend in handcuffs without any explanation and removed him from the plane before other passengers were allowed out.

Davis called the events a "disgusting display of injustice" and added that he will be pursuing legal action against United Airlines.

Davis spent all seven seasons of his NFL career with the Broncos. He earned three All-Pro nods and was named NFL MVP in 1998. Davis helped lead the Broncos to two Super Bowl wins.

Davis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.
