DENVER ( KDVR ) — Denver’s weather this weekend will be nice and mild compared to the recent record-breaking heat — perfect for an outdoor adventure or a festival.

Here are some things you can do around Denver with the warm weather this weekend.

Outdoor adventures

With the mild temperatures, this weekend is a great chance to take a hike or go on a bike ride.

Even though it is the middle of July, there is still snow in some mountain areas. You can buy tickets to tube on natural snow at Keystone Ski Resort ranging between $20-$80.

Free day at the Denver Art Museum

Free days are a great time to check out the Denver Art Museum. Even if you have visited before, the museum regularly updates the exhibits, creating a new experience.

The doors will be open on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. While entry is free, attendees are still asked to reserve a ticket online or at the museum’s front desk.
