    Denver weather: Dry and hot along with areas of smoke through midweek

    ​​​​​DENVER (KDVR) — The smoke and hazy skies will stick around for a few more days in Denver weather .

    The Denver metro should start to notice an improvement in the air quality by Thursday. And, the chance for rain returns on Friday which will also help to cleanse the air. According to Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast, residents should limit time outside for the next few days if they are sensitive to poor air quality.

    Weather tonight: Mostly clear and comfortable

    After a few early evening scattered showers and thunderstorms skies are expected to clear. There will be a light southerly breeze overnight.

    Temperatures look comfortable with forecast lows in the 50s across metro Denver and the eastern plains. There will even be areas in the 40s through some mountain towns.

    Weather tomorrow: Sunny and warm with smoke and haze

    It will be a mostly sunny and dry day on Tuesday. Again, the smoke and haze will be noticeable.

    Temperatures will warm over the last few days with a mix of upper 80s and low 90s statewide. Denver’s forecast high is close to the seasonal average of 90 degrees.

    Looking ahead: Rain chances return by the weekend

    Denver will stay in the hot 90s all week long running a few degrees above normal each afternoon. The metro has a chance for showers and thunderstorms to return by Friday and Saturday.

    The forecast quickly turns dry again heading into next week allowing temperatures to stay in the hot 90s. The record highs for the week ahead are at 99 or higher each of the next 7 days.
