The Denver Broncos are in crucial territory with this upcoming season. If they don't show any improvements, fast, then Broncos Country could start to turn against Sean Payton and the company. That's just how it is for a fan base that expects championships.
So, they are taking whatever they can. They are doing whatever they think will make them better, even if it's the smallest thing that you wouldn't think would help, but it does. They are even trying to bring back former players that they previously worked out.
According to Mike Klis of Denver 9 Sports, the Broncos are working out some players on Monday during training camp, and among those players include former Air Force linebacker Alec Mock, was is a former undrafted free agent rookie who has worked out with the Broncos before.
The Broncos' inside linebacker position group is a bit thin, so they are looking for anyone who could possibly help. Maybe Mock can, and they somewhat know what to expect from him. If all goes well, we could see a report about a signing later Monday.
Among those group of players that are working out is probably a safety or two following the news of the Broncos releasing Caden Sterns.
