The Auburn Tigers have two former quarterbacks on the Denver Broncos' roster.

One of them is more than likely going to start.

Former Tiger QBs Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix are playing for the Broncos this season, with Nix having been selected No. 12 overall by the Broncos in the 2024 NFL Draft and Stidham having been traded to Denver last year.

Stidham is currently listed as the starting quarterback on Denver's first depth chart of the season. Nix is listed third-string behind former New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson. It will be interesting to see if Stidham can hold onto the starting job, considering he's not been a starting QB his entire NFL career.

Over the course of four seasons with the New England Patriots, Las Vegas Raiders, and the Broncos, Stidham has appeared in 16 games (starting four). He has completed 59.4% of his passes for 1,422 yards, eight touchdowns, and eight interceptions.

His best performance of his professional career came in week 17 last season vs the San Francisco 49ers. Stidham completed 23 of 34 passes for 365 yards and three touchdowns. The Raiders lost 37-34.

Nix started his career as an Auburn Tiger before transferring to the Oregon Ducks. Over three seasons on the Plains, Nix completed 59.4% of his passes for 7,250 yards, 39 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He also ran for 869 yards and 18 scores.

His two-year stint with the Ducks proved to be significantly more efficient, with Nix holding a 74.9% completion percentage while throwing for 8,101 yards and 74 touchdowns to just 10 interceptions. He added 20 scores on the ground.
