Vass of Getzville was arraigned on Saturday morning before Buffalo City Court Judge Diane Y. Wray, also acting as an Amherst Town Court Justice, on two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree (Class “A-I” felonies), four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (Class “B” felonies), one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony), and six counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class “A” misdemeanors).
2 students stabbed following large fight in downtown Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police are investigating an incident that ended with two students being stabbed. Buffalo Police were called to Main and Mohawk streets around 12:30 p.m. for a report of a large fight. Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said about 10 juveniles were allegedly assaulting another juvenile when that juvenile pulled out a knife and stabbed two of his attackers. One of the teens stabbed had to undergo surgery and is currently in stable condition.
Buffalo Police provide update in fatal domestic incident
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police have provided an update into the investigation of a fatal domestic incident that resulted in the death of two people. On Saturday, police were called to a home on the 700 block of Ashland Avenue for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived on scene, they found a 24-year-old woman stabbed and slashed. She was taken by ambulance to ECMC where she later died.

Brianna was reported as missing on July 17 from Cattaraugus County and is believed to be with a female companion. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, grey sweatpants, and white sneakers.
Serial rapist sentenced for attempted rape of Attica prison employee
Warsaw, N.Y. — A serial rapist who was already imprisoned has received his sentence after being convicted of attempting to rape a prison employee. Emmanuel Jenkins, now 38, isolated and attacked a woman who worked as a cook in the Attica Correctional Facility cafeteria last fall, according to Vincent Hemming, Wyoming County's acting district attorney.
