‘Disney’ artist coming to Beauregard Museum

Former Walt Disney World artist Keith Donaldson will be at the Beauregard Museum in DeRidder from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today, cutting custom silhouettes for children and adults.

Appointments are required to secure a spot by calling 337-463-8148 or in-person at Beauregard Museum, 120 South Washington St.

Silhouettes will be completed by Donaldson and will be ready to take home the same day. There is a fee for each portrait.

Children need only to sit for three minutes. It does not matter what your child wears for their sitting. All ages are welcome, from newborn to adult, including “wiggly” kids!

A master artist, Donaldson personally cuts each silhouette freehand using only a pair of surgical scissors and by simply looking at the subject’s profile. He cut silhouettes at Walt Disney World for many years and is considered to be one of the nation’s most accurate silhouette artists
