More rain exacerbates flooding along Mississippi River
Rain and flooding continue to dominate the news cycle and was the leading topic at the Des Moines County Board of Supervisors Tuesday meeting. County Emergency Management Coordinator Shannon Prado said the Mississippi River is expected to crest sometime around July 7 at 20.4 feet, well above major flood stage.
