Miss Iowa USA and Miss Iowa Teen USA have been crowned and are taking their talents to compete at Miss USA and Miss Teen USA this summer.

Who are Miss Iowa 2024 and Miss Iowa Teen 2024?

McKenzie Ariana Kerry, 25-year-old from Des Moines was named Miss Iowa 2024 during a competition on Sunday, June 23.

Grace Smithey, 19-year-old from Polk City, is this year's Miss Iowa Teen.

The annual competition consisted of three segments: evening gown, swimwear or active wear and interview.

What's next for Miss Iowa and Miss Iowa Teen?

Kerry and Smithey each received thousands of dollars in prizes and awards, but more importantly, they now have the opportunity to compete for the national titles this year.

The Miss Teen USA competition is scheduled for Aug. 1 and the Miss USA competition for Aug. 4, and both will air live on The CW network.

Whoever is crowned Miss USA will then represent the United States in the Miss Universe competition.
