Beshear campaigns in Iowa and Georgia

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Kentucky Governor, Andy Beshear makes two campaign stops over the weekend for likely Democratic Presidential Candidate, Kamala Harris.

Beshear visited Des Moines, Iowa and Forsyth County, Georgia over the weekend, and took jabs at Former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance while also calling for unity.

While in Georgia, Beshear was joined by Hadley Duvall, an Owensboro native who became pregnant in middle school as a result of being raped by her stepfather. Duvall appeared in numerous ads for the Beshear campaign for Governor in 2023, as well as commercials for President Joe Biden prior to his exit from the race.

Beshear is said to be in the running for a Vice Presidential spot on the democratic ticket. He says that whatever the outcome of the Vice Presidential pick, he will do whatever he can to get Kamala Harris elected as President.
