One of the sweetest meal deals is back until Sept. 15. Earlier this week, IHOP's all-you-can-eat pancakes returned to menus nationwide, and this year, customers have two ways to access the endless supply of the classic breakfast item.

The endless pancake deal is usually offered at the beginning of the year after the holiday season, but this year, the chain's positioning of the promotion to coincide with back-to-school aiming to assist families when schedules are tight and budgets are strained from back-to-school shopping.

Here's what you need to know about the deal:

How to get $5 IHOP all-you-can-eat pancakes

Customers simply need to ask for the $5 all-you-can-eat pancakes to get the deal. Only IHOP's signature buttermilk pancakes are available for the deal and for dine-in customers only. For $5, customers can get a Full Stack of five buttermilk pancakes, followed by a Short Stack, or two pancakes, with every additional order.

This year, IHOP is allowing customers to add all-you-can-eat pancakes to any breakfast combo for free; however, this deal is not valid on the 55+ menu, omelet or kids menu items. This deal can be added to popular menu items like the Country Fried Egg and Steak or the Smokehouse combo, and it will be served with an accompanying short stack of pancakes.

When is the end date for the unlimited, all-you-can-eat IHOP pancakes in 2024?

All-you-can-eat pancakes are available now through Sept. 15, 2024.
