Max Clark, the No. 3 pick in the 2023 MLB draft who graduated from Franklin High School, will represent the Detroit Tigers organization in the 2024 All-Star Futures Game .

Clark, 19, was one of two Tigers players to be selected. The game will occur at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 13 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. It will be broadcast on MLB Network, MLB.TV, MLB.com, or in the MLB App.

Clark is the top prospect in the Tigers' organization and the 10th overall prospect in all of baseball. Currently, Clark is with Single-A Lakeland and has a .277 batting average, .379 on-base percentage, five home runs, 50 RBIs and 24 stolen bases in 66 games played this season.

While at Franklin, Clark was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year. He hit .646 with nine doubles, five triples, six home runs, 52 walks and five strikeouts in 28 games as a senior.

Clark became the state's highest draft pick since Bryan Bullington (Ball State) went No. 1 overall in 2002.  The highest an Indiana player was drafted straight out of high school was when Kokomo's Pat Underwood, Detroit, went No. 2 to Detroit in 1976.
