    Police say 16-year-old Marissa, reported missing last week in Detroit, has been recovered

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department has good news about a teenager who was reported missing last week, on the city's west side.

    According to a missing persons report released on Friday, 16-year-old Marissa Wright was last seen at her home in the 12000 block of Northlawn, in the area of W. Grand River Ave. and I-96, on Thursday, July 18.

    Police said the teen left without permission, and was reported missing when she didn't return.

    Over the weekend, the DPD sent an update stating that Wright has been recovered. They didn't say where she was found, and no further information was released.
