Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta.

We're going through all the available futures offered to us for each NFL team and picking out two of our favorites.

Maybe it's a player prop future, maybe it's built on the team itself. Either way, we're finding two bets for all 32 teams. Today's target: the Detroit Lions.

    Detroit Lions 2024 odds

    • Wins: Over 10.5 (-112) | Under 10.5 (-108)
    • To win division: +135
    • To win conference: +550
    • To win Super Bowl: +1200

Two future bets on the Lions

To win NFC (+550 DraftKings )

The Lions were right there on the doorstep last season, blowing a late lead to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about Detroit's run last year was that they were everyone's betting darling heading into the season, and they delivered.

Basically the entire cast of characters is back, with Jared Goff leading an offense that includes Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Sam LaPorta, plus one of the NFL's best offensive lines.

The defense has pieces throughout, though the team is putting quite a bit of trust in some of their young defenders (Brian Branch and Terrion Arnold in particular). Should they take the jump and perform, sky is the limit for the Lions.

Sam LaPorta over 850.5 receiving yards (-110 DraftKings )

Sam LaPorta walked onto the scene in Year One and immediately showed himself to be one of the NFL's best tight ends. He finished his rookie campaign with 86 catches for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns, and there's every reason he'll only continue growing in this offense.

The presence of St. Brown, Williams and even Gibbs should allow LaPorta to see plenty of single coverage, and Goff has shown he trusts him and trusts him in bulk.

As with any player prop future, health is always a factor, but if LaPorta plays a full season, he should fly past this total.
