    Have you seen Aniya? Detroit police searching for 16-year-old girl missing since she left home late Saturday night

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are asking for tips as they searching for a teenage girl who's been missing for several days.

    Aniya McKinny, 16, was last seen the night of Saturday, July 26, at her home in the 16400 block of Sussex, on the city's west side.

    Police said the teen left home at around 11 p.m., did not return, and was reported missing on Tuesday.

    McKinny is described as a Black female, 5"6 tall and weighing 110 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair worn in braids. She was last seen wearing a yellow headscarf, a purple sweater, black jogging pants and white shoes.

    Anyone who has seen this missing teen, or who knows where she may be, is asked to call Commander Shelley Holderbaum of the Detroit Police Department's 4th Precinct at 313-596-5400.
