    Diamond’s Caitlyn Suhrie Earns NFCA First Team All-American Honors

    LOUISVILLE, KY — Diamond’s Caitlyn Suhrie was named a First Team All-American for Utility Player/Pitcher by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) for her incredible play this season.

    Suhrie was voted on by NFCA member head coaches from around the country.

    This past season, Suhrie did it all for the Lady Wildcats. She hit 12 home-runs to along with 50 RBI’s.

    In the circle, she also dominated and shut teams down posting a 0.91 ERA.

    Suhrie helped lead the Diamond Lady Wildcats to the Class 2 State Championship title and a 38-1 overall record.

    She was also named the MaxPreps Player of the Year for the State of Missouri.

    And if that wasn’t enough, Suhrie made history becoming the program’s very first All-American.

    Suhrie is set to compete at the next, staying close to home to compete with Labette Community College.
