Homeless trespasser arrested in Williamsport
Williamsport, Pa. — Guards at Lycoming Wirerope Works called Williamsport Police to help deal with a drunken person trespassing in late June. Joseph Raymond John Cieczko of Williamsport was told to leave the building at 100 Maynard Street, according to the complaint. The 29-year-old Cieczko walked back to the entrance and became confrontational with the guards, police said. Cieczko allegedly attempted to start a physical fight. The guard backed away from Cieczko and called Williamsport Police, Officer Tyler Corter said. According to responding police, Cieczko smelled of alcohol and could not put together complete sentences. Cieczko is being charged with defiant trespassing and public drunkenness. Cieczko, who is listed as homeless on the affidavit, posted $2,500 unsecured bail and was released from custody. Docket sheet
