Taunton Drive-In Announces Free “Movies Under the Stars” For 2024!

A nostalgic 1960s drive-in restaurant in Massachusetts has announced that it will be hosting free movies for the entire community to enjoy throughout the warmer months! From June until September, the Star Drive-In will be bringing back its "Movies Under The Stars" event, which hosts free movies from all different genres. From fun date night flicks to exciting family-friendly blockbusters, there's sure to be something for everyone!

These movies will be set against the backdrop of the retro establishment that was first opened in 1964 by brothers Edmond and Reney St. Yves. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious foods and sweet treats in a drive-in-style setting, providing a fun experience for those seeking a nostalgic trip back in time or looking to experience how their grandparents saw the world while growing up!

According to the Star Drive-In, "Movies Under The Stars" start at sunset, and those looking to be as comfortable as possible are advised to bring their own blankets or folding chairs. The establishment prohibits any outside food or drinks, but don't worry, they have a great selection of snacks and drinks to choose from! In addition, a movie attendant will be present to address all attendees' needs.
