Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a foster-based rescue located in Massachusetts, has shared that they are still seeking a forever home for a young, energetic dog named Thanos. Thanos, who is just barely a year old and weighs 55 pounds, is one of the dogs at Sandy Paws Rescue who has been waiting for his forever family the longest. "He is gorgeous and has such a fun personality! He had the time of his life running through the water to try to catch the birds," explains Sandy Paws Rescue.

In addition to his loving personality, Thanos is house-trained and knows most of his basic commands. He does well in his crate, and when he needs to go out, he goes to the door. Thanos also gets along well with other dogs and older children, making him a versatile addition to any active home. "He loves to give hugs and kisses. He does well with other medium and large sized dogs but may let out a few barks at first. He responds well to redirection and has learned to listen well to his foster mom," explains Sandy Paws Rescue.

Thanos's adoption fee has been waived, in lieu of his future family investing in furthering his training, explains the non-profit animal rescue. Sandy Paws Rescue Inc. highlights his affectionate nature, stating, "He is great at giving snuggles and he loves giving husky hugs, he is a bit shy at first but once he is comfortable he is a happy guy!" They also point out that Thanos is an excellent companion for outdoor activities, adding, "Looking for a walking or hiking buddy this summer? Thanos absolutely loves his walks!"

Thanos is ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of love to his new home. Sandy Paws Rescue Inc. requires that anyone interested in adopting must submit an application to them. As a foster-based rescue based in Massachusetts, they don’t have a shelter location, and visits with dogs are by appointment only. Their dogs reside in private homes or kennels until adoption.
