A beloved festival is returning for another year of delicious food, local vendors, and family-friendly fun! Marshfield Lobsterfest, which began in 2019 as a way to support local lobstermen and showcase the natural beauty of Marshfield, has become an annual event that draws visitors from near and far!

Over the years Lobsterfest has become known as an event that brings the community together, with 160 small businesses participating in the festivities last year. Lobsterfest invites you to shop from local artisans and enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks from local establishments and food trucks.

That's not all, as you're also invited to learn about marine education from the Massachusetts Lobstermen’s Association and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, who will both be at the festival to educate the community on the importance of our marine wildlife and ecosystem. For more hands-on education, there will be lobster boats and gear showcased throughout the day.

There will be live musical performances for you to enjoy at Lobsterfest. On the main stage, Acoustic Tandem, a high-energy acoustic Trio, will be performing from 12 pm to 5 pm. For the younger members of the family who are attending Lobsterfest, there will be a Children's Stage with multiple Disney-themed musical performances throughout the day, in addition to a Kidz Zone offering activities including:

• Face painting
• Bubbles
• Bouncy houses
• Mermaid hair station
• Ice cream and treats

This fun community festival returns on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 12 pm to 5 pm in Brant Rock, Marshfield.
