    OBITUARY: Charles Yuhas Jr.

    Charles Yuhas, Jr., “Best Dad Ever”, of Charlotte, TN, passed away August 13, 2024, at Vantage Point in Ashland City, TN.

    Charles, 93 years of age, was born August 22, 1930, in Racine, Wisconsin, to the late Charles and Elizebeth (Reisyl) Yuhas.

    He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. He loved ice cream and enjoyed yard work, fishing, reading, and playing the guitar and banjo.

    He is survived by his sons, Isaac Yuhas, Kenneth (Gail) Yuhas, and David Yuhas (Tina Passeralli); daughters, Mary (Keith) Boldus and Debra (Scott) Milner; brothers, Robert (Judy) Yuhas, Jerome (Sherri) Yuhas, and Steven Yuhas; sister, Catherine (Ronald) Haacker; eight grandchildren – Crystal, Karen, Ryan, Jackie, Justin, Dylan, Kyle, and Pamela; and eight great-grandchildren – Merissa, Daylan, JJ, Jovi, Natalli, Jaxsen, Bailey, and Lincoln.

    In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Yuhas; and brothers, James Yuhas.

    Visitation with the family will be on August 16, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 209 East College Street, Dickson, TN. Bro. Rob Truitt will be officiating. Interment will follow in Thompson Cemetery in Dickson, TN.
