The AMA today announced the three rider team that will represent the US at the Motocross of Nations in the UK this fall. Chase Sexton, Aaron Plessinger and Chance Hymas were named to the team after their strong performances in the later round of the 2024 Pro Motocross season. The official press release follows.

US SELECTS 2024 MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS TEAM

Star Racing Yamaha’s Haiden Deegan, the 2024 Pro Motocross Champion, recently addressed his fans to clarify the situation surrounding his participation in the Motocross of Nations (MXoN). Despite his strong desire to represent his country, Deegan explained that he has hardware in his wrist that needs to be removed after the SuperMotocross (SMX) season, which requires time to heal. To ensure he’s fully prepared for pre-season training and to maximize his chances of securing a Supercross (SX) title, the team has decided it would be best for him not to attend MXoN this year. Deegan emphasized that he is a racer at heart and is eager to compete in the future if given the opportunity. He expressed gratitude to his supporters for understanding his situation.
