Missouri's senior tax credit is now easier to access for St. Louis County residents
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — St. Louis County Council passed legislation this Tuesday removing barriers to the state's Senior Tax Credit program. That program gives seniors and disabled individuals a credit for a portion of the real estate taxes or rent they paid for the year. The credit is for up to $750 for renters and up to $1,100 for owners who owned and occupied their home.
New Haven police service contract extended by county
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will continue to provide law enforcement services in New Haven for at least another six months. “This extends the contract,” Presiding Commissioner Tim Brinker said Tuesday after county commissioners approved an agreement providing a dedicated patrol deputy to New Haven from Aug. 1 through Jan. 31, 2025.

Fox, Seckman High stadiums damaged by heavy rains
The Fox C-6 School District has closed the athletic stadiums at Fox and Seckman high schools due to damage from last week’s heavy rains. Superintendent Paul Fregeau said Monday that the damage to the stadiums is significant and the cost to repair the damage at both stadiums is expected to cost more than $1 million combined.

At Sunrise Senior Living in Chesterfield, residents are making art to also help work their minds.
