Forward progress stopped on Denverton Fire burning in Solano County
SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. — Firefighters stopped forward progress on a grass fire in Solano County burning near Travis Air Force Base Tuesday. The Denverton Fire sparked in the area of Denverton and Creed roads near Suisun City Tuesday afternoon, according to the Solano County Office of Emergency Services. The fire burned between Travis Air Force Base and Suisun City, and near Highway 12.

Heatwave to Leave Several Customers in North Bay Without Power (But Not Sonoma County)
The incoming heatwave could cause a lot of stress to the grid. The potential Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event is anticipated to begin early Tuesday morning and could last through Wednesday. It affects approximately 12,000 customers, including two tribal governments, in targeted parts of eight counties. In the North Bay, it would be 49 customers in Lake County and 9 in Napa, so 58 total. 96 customers in Solano County may also lose power.
