The Steak and Potatoes Meal
Here is a meal that requires a few ingredients - steak and potatoes. Here it is. Season the steak on both sides with Hawaiian salt or sea salt. Oil the pan and put the store on high until the pan is at high heat. Cook and sear the steak on one side for several minutes. Turn the steak over, cook it, and sear the other side of the steak. I like my steak medium rare, but you can cook the steak to your liking.
Fried Chicken With Pancake Mix Recipe
I like experimenting with ingredients. I've never used pancake batter as a coating for fried chicken, but I wanted to test it to see if it works. Here are the ingredients. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you have a consistent batter mixture. Salt the chicken thighs or breast with salt, pepper, or any seasoning of your choice. Dip the chicken into the batter and fry in cooking or olive oil on medium to low heat until golden brown.
Hurricane Insurance and Affordable Housing in Hawaii
Hurricane insurance is a requirement to get a mortgage in Hawaii. Full hurricane insurance coverage means that if a hurricane damages your house or condo, the hurricane insurance company will pay 100% of the cost to replace your dwelling.
Street Food Vending to Stop in December
I used to see many vendors selling anything from fish to smoked meat on the side of the main highway where I grew up. I didn't see much of that on Oahu, but since returning home to the neighboring island, I've been seeing more of the street vendors.
Barbecued Pork Chop Recipe
I found several more recipes from my grandma’s and mom’s recipe binder and box. Here is a recipe I haven’t tried for a while, but I remember it as a youth. Season with salt and pepper. Combine the remaining ingredients separately, and pour over the pork chops in a baking pan. Bake the pork chops at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn the pork chops over after 30 minutes, and bake for 1 to 1.5 hours or until tender.
Here Is a Simple Banana Wrap Dessert
Here is a simple banana dessert my mom always made when I was a youth. She still makes this dessert whenever she can. The ingredients are simple. As a matter of convenience, I have a banana tree in my backyard. Every time we have a bundle of ripe bananas, we give bundles to our neighbors.
