Officer seizes drugs and firearms during traffic stop in Lewisville
LEWISVILLE, Texas — An early morning traffic stop on July 16, 2024, led to the seizure of drugs and firearms, according to the Lewisville Police Department. Officer Huff, assigned to patrol, stopped a vehicle after observing the driver commit a hazardous traffic violation. During the investigation, Officer Huff located and seized approximately 1.5 pounds of marijuana, three handguns, and a significant amount of cash. The driver was arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
