Texas Lawmen Deployed to Secure GOP's Milwaukee Gala Amid Local Force Frenzy!
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has sent over a hundred law enforcement officials to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to bolster security at the Republican National Convention (RNC), following the shocking assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Trump's appearance at the RNC marked his return to the public eye since the incident. The decision by Abbott to deploy these officers, "ensure there are ample security resources present to safeguard attendees," in a critical show of support during a tumultuous time, the Governor stated, as per the Office of the Texas Governor. The support from Texas includes personnel from several cities, with 27 officers coming from the Austin Police Department (APD).
