The calendar of Performers will include artists such as Walker & Royce, CRANKDAT, Boombox Cartel, KSHMR, and more! Substance, the city’s newest live music venue.

Marcel Correa and Joe Borusiewicz, best known as partners in the Las Vegas-based event production company RVLTN Events, expanded their local legacy with the official opening of Substance, the city’s newest live music venue.

The venue opened on Friday, July 12, at the Neonopolis Complex in the heart of the vibrant Fremont District. SUBSTANCE will be a one-story, 18,000-foot sanctuary for all flavors of live entertainment.

Correa and Borusiewicz’s passion for music has helped cement RVLTN as one of the country’s most abundant independent electronic promoters, producing many club nights, concerts, and outdoor festivals each year.

SUBSTANCE is their latest venture, joining an impressive portfolio that includes ALTURA Presents, Elation, and Jackpot.

At Substance, the RVLTN team will collaborate with pioneering electronic music promoter Insomniac to bring some of the world’s most sought-after dance music artists to the stage every Friday night.

Altura Presents will transform the space alongside electronic programming, hosting massively popular Latin events every Saturday night. The venue will also host an array of other genres and promoters, including Mexican regional, Rock, R&B, reggae, and more.

Just steps away from The Strip, adjacent to Las Vegas Boulevard and Fremont Street, the new year-round venue will quickly become a home for fans looking to enjoy their favorite artists.

Growing up in Las Vegas, we’ve always loved our great city and its incredible potential to become a thriving local music scene. We’ve attended countless shows, festivals, & events here, and our passion has always been serving our fellow locals. As promoters, working with various venues throughout the city has given us deep insight into what works and what doesn’t — from guest experience and operations to overall strategy. No one enjoys paying $30 for parking or navigating a casino to attend an event. People dislike strict dress codes, long lines for drinks and bathrooms, poor sound quality, and gouging fees. At SUBSTANCE, we aim to create an entertainment destination that addresses these issues, incorporating everything we’d want as event producers and local music fans. We can’t wait to unveil our most exciting venture to date. - Marcel Correa and Joe Borusiewicz

The space’s brutalist architecture and low ceilings will make guests feel like they’re in a dystopian post-apocalyptic warehouse, with top-of-the-line production amplifying live entertainment across various genres. The facility has a cutting-edge audio/visual system that can accommodate a wide range of live entertainment, from intimate DJ sets to live bands and significant productions. On the operations side, SUBSTANCE will be helmed by industry veteran and Director Thom Svast. The venue features one of the largest indoor LED installations in the area, designed and installed by KRAY AV and Tradewind Productions.

On Friday, July 12, SUBSTANCE officially opened its doors with one of house music’s most dynamic duos, Walker & Royce, for an evening of vibrant, groove-heavy sound. On night two, Altura Presents debuted SUBSTANCE’s first Latin Evening with a special guest lineup soon to be announced. The momentous grand opening will be followed by a summer of worldwide talent, including Boombox Cartel on July 19, bass music sensation CRANKDAT on July 26, and many more.
