The Neon Museum is set to embark on an exciting journey of growth and expansion in the downtown Las Vegas Arts District, nearly tripling the size of its current location.

The Neon Museum preserves and features signs from old casinos and businesses. The museum visitors’ centre features a restored lobby shell from the defunct La Concha Motel. The Neon Museum has been a Las Vegas favorite since it officially opened on October 27, 2012.

The museum has entered due diligence on two sites: the first is a 60,000-square-foot outdoor display space and 47,000 square feet for an indoor area on the 9th and 10th floors of a proposed parking garage, and the second is just a short walk away, offering 35,000 square feet of programmable space.

The new site will boast an outdoor sign display with panoramic views of Las Vegas, an interactive indoor space for immersive experiences, and a neon maker’s space, offering a unique blend of history and creativity.

The museum’s second location – within walking distance of the first – will offer a neon maker’s space, a neon Boneyard, classrooms, and a visible storage centre essential to The Museum’s growing collection.
