Iowa Woman Found With Body Near Eyota Makes First Court Appearance on Murder Charges
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Iowa woman found with a body in her crashed vehicle near Eyota last month has made her first court appearance on murder charges. 32-year-old Margot Lewis was arraigned on two counts of second-degree murder in Hennepin County Court in Minneapolis on Monday. She was charged in connection to the death of 35-year-old Liaria Tsai last week.
Another No-Show For Sentencing Results in Arrest Warrant
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An arrest warrant was issued today for a man who failed to show up in Olmsted County Court for his sentencing hearing. Court records show 42-year-old Jesus Rodriguez was scheduled for sentencing on Monday in the case where he was accused of pointing a gun at another man and threatening to kill him at a local convenience store last summer. He was arrested last July after a man told Rochester police that he was refueling his vehicle when he was approached by a man he did not know who was yelling in both Spanish and English before the man went back to his vehicle and returned with a handgun.

Ex arrested after Minneapolis woman found dead under tarp, mattress following car crash
MINNEAPOLIS (TCN) -- A 32-year-old woman is facing a murder charge after her ex-girlfriend was found stabbed to death following a car crash. According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, June 22, at around 7 a.m., deputies received a call about a single-car crash on Interstate 90 and responded to the scene. While there, they made contact with the driver, Margot Lewis, and checked her car for any additional victims. Deputies discovered a body in the backseat and said the "conditions of the deceased were suspicious."

Lewiston man points gun at neighbor, threatens to kill his family
(KWNO)-A Lewiston man threatened to kill a neighbor following an argument. According to a Winona County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, on Tuesday evening 69-year-old Michael Martinson pointed a gun at his next-door neighbor and said, “I’ll kill you, your daughter and your wife.” The spokesperson said Martinson was mad because the neighbor mowed the lawn and blew the grass clippings onto Martinson’s driveway. The victim’s wife and daughter were not home at the time of the incident. Deputies arrested Martinson for threats of violence and assault.
