Elvis Week 2024 is set to kick off on August 9 and run until the 17th as fans prepare to remember Elvis Presley 47 years after his death. Tickets are currently available on the Elvis Week website, which also contains information about the events to follow this week.

The experience includes concerts, panels, presentations, movie screenings, fan-sponsored events and a Candlelight Vigil which Elvis lovers cannot wait to partake in. Last year, the vigil was held in his famed Graceland estate with thousands in attendance.

What to expect at Elvis Week 2024

DJ Argo from SiriusXM’s Elvis Radio will be hosting past winners of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest including Brandon Bennett, Cote Deonath and Ben Thompson. They will perform Elvis’ biggest hits from the ‘50s, and fans are welcome to watch with ticket prices ranging from $45 to $80.

    Another Elvis tribute competition

This year, another winner of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest will emerge to take home $20,000, amongst other prizes. Attendees are welcome to watch at $47 to $85. Another evening event will be dedicated to music from Elvis’ recording sessions in his hometown, with renowned songwriter David Porter present to share his memories with the late legend.

A Q&A and listening event hosted by Sony is open to all, and attendees get a peek into the newly released Memphis film. Next is the Fans Choice Awards, and a tribute session featuring Elvis’ co-stars and loved ones including former girlfriend Linda Thompson. The week closes out at the ’50s-themed Graceland Soundstage event with prizes available for the best dressed.
