Be careful walking after dark: The police may be scary
Freedom to move about the country is a wonderful privilege. Let us be appreciative of our freedom this Fourth of July week. Recently, I was taking a late-night walk in Owenton, Kentucky. Owenton is a little town of maybe 600 people in rural north central Kentucky. I had just finished watching the sad Biden-Trump debate and decided that a walk and some ice cream sounded good.
NKY family ‘devastated’ after father’s accused killer tries to withdraw guilty plea
COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) - A Northern Kentucky man, who was supposed to be sentenced on Monday for a 2006 murder, is wanting out of the guilty plea he made in January. Timothy Delehanty confessed to killing Paul Clayton in 2006 to detectives from the Elsmere Police Department. He later pleaded guilty to his death in Kenton County court.
