Man died after being shot in Baldwin Park
BALDWIN PARK – A man was fatally shot in Baldwin Park and an investigation into the shooting is underway Friday. Baldwin Park Police Department officers responded at 11:02 p.m. Thursday to the 14100 block Ramona Boulevard near La Rica Avenue, where they found the victim, said sheriff’s homicide Lt. Michael Modica.

The Los Angeles Police Department released bodycam video Friday of the moments a suspect armed with a machine gun fired at two officers during a traffic stop in the Willowbrook area the night of July 3.The video shows LAPD officers Stefan Carutasu and Joshua Rodney attempting to pull over the suspect at Broadway and Rosecrans Avenue. Son stabs mother to death, injures father in Wilmington attack, LAPD says
A 20-year-old man stabbed his mother to death and injured his father following an attack at their Wilmington home early Sunday morning, Los Angeles police said.The deadly stabbing happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. in the 900 block of N. Banning Boulevard, according to LAPD. Responding officers found two victims at the home suffering from stab wounds -- a 42-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man.Police located the 20-year-old suspect at the scene completely naked and took him into custody. He was taken to the hospital for an evaluation, LAPD said.Police believe the man stabbed his parents in their home overnight, killing his mother in the process and injuring his father, who was taken to the hospital in stable condition. LAPD says he is expected to survive.The woman died at the scene from her injuries.Authorities have not identified the suspect or victims.The motive for the deadly attack is unknown. Police are investigating whether the suspect was under the influence of drugs.

Teen boys shot during attempted robbery at street takeover in South Los Angeles
Two 15-year-old boys were shot during an attempted robbery at a street takeover in South Los Angeles, police said.It happened around 2 a.m. Saturday near 54th Street and Western Avenue.According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the teens were in their car watching the street takeover when three suspects ran up to them and tried to rob them.When the teenagers drove off, one suspect opened fire and shot the boys, police said. The teens were rushed to the hospital but were not critically injured. Police said they're expected to survive.Three suspects fled the scene and remain at large. Police said all three were involved in the robbery attempt but only one was involved in the shooting.It's unclear if the suspects got away with any of the boys' belongings.
