Dash-cam video leads to charges in Hillcrest crash
A truck’s dash-cam video showed it was speeding Tuesday morning before striking a car on Hillcrest Parkway and leaving a man trapped and injured. Dublin police Maj. Eric Roland said the accident occurred at 10:47 a.m. Tuesday near the Walgreen’s on Hillcrest Parkway. The driver of a white Chevrolet Silverado, who was determined to be the at-fault vehicle, hit a silver Chevrolet Malibu.
Dublin firefighters free man from wrecked car
Dublin firefighters and first responders used extraction tools to cut a man from his wrecked car Tuesday morning. The car and a truck collided on Hillcrest Parkway, near the VA hospital, leaving the driver of the car trapped. Police blocked the street at U.S. 80 and at Industrial Boulevard as rescuers rushed to free the man.
