Over 600 students received their high school diplomas from Georgia Connections Academy during an in-person event at Gas South Arena in Duluth.

Some of the Cobb County graduates were: Natalia Anderson and Alyssa Smallwood, both of Acworth; Sadie Mansfield of Atlanta; Simon Jones of Austell; Terriah Stainback of Douglasville; Conner Diller, Devin Diller, TraDavian Gathers and Morgana Manley, all of Kennesaw; Amy Cano and Jonas Holder, both of Mableton; Zachary Balevre, Madeline Cabelka, Nathalie Garcia, Isis Garrison, Naomi Jordan, Charles Lacy, Garrett Laws, Theodore Sye and Tristan Warren, all of Marietta; Razan Dabdoub, Luca Landi, Jordon Mcnealey and Kennedy Wade, all of Powder Springs; and Jazmin Alvarado Lara and Kerry St. Martin, both of Smyrna.

The graduates and their families chose the full-time, tuition-free, online school for K-12 students throughout Georgia for a more personalized and flexible education.

Collectively, the graduates earned over $18 million in scholarships and awards and have a wide variety of post-graduation plans. Among these plans, 64% plan to attend a two- or four-year college, 18% are entering the workforce, 9% will pursue vocational training and others are choosing to enter the military or take a gap year.

Enrollment is currently open for Georgia Connections Academy's 2024-25 school year, and capacity is limited in certain grades. For more information, visit http://www.GeorgiaConnectionsAcademy.com or call 1-800-382-6010.
