Kadyn Proctor was expected to be a huge part of Alabama's offensive line in 2024, which made it all the more disappointing for those in Tuscaloosa when he transferred back to his home state of Iowa to pledge to the Iowa Hawkeyes in the wake of Nick Saban's retirement. That was a decision that didn't last long, though, as Proctor was a Hawkeye for just a few months before he got the itch to go back to Alabama. New head coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff were extremely receptive to bringing back the former five-star recruit, and now, just weeks before...

Options for Alabama to pivot on defensive line, safety in 2025 recruiting class
Following a weekend of decommitments, Alabama may need to pivot to shore up certain areas of its 2025 recruiting class. The defensive line class now includes only 3-star London Simmons. Simmons is a quality prospect, but Bama simply needs more interior bodies up front. Alabama's defensive back class is also relatively thin. Though the secondary is buoyed by elite cornerbacks Dijon Lee and Chuck McDonald, the cupboard at safety is now bare.
