The fact that only three members of the Orange Cove Lions Club attended their meeting July 18 did not deter the members’ drive to get the service club up and running again. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Reports Death of Condemned Inmate Convicted in Fresno County
At 12:23 a.m., Jennings was found unresponsive in his assigned cell during a security check. Responding staff initiated lifesaving measures and summoned an ambulance. Jennings was pronounced deceased by the Vacaville Fire Department at 12:45 a.m. Solano County Coroner determined the cause of death to be natural at 3:18 a.m.
