Meteor seen over Wisconsin on Friday
According to the American Meteor Society, over 70 reports came in from across parts of Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and Illinois of a meteor seen early Friday morning. Based on reports, the fireball was estimated to of had a path starting east of Augusta in Eau Claire county, travelled southeast and burned up northeast of Tomah in Monroe county. Seen as far north as Perham, Minnesota, and as far south as Talbott, Illinois, the fireball entered the atmosphere between 6:10 and 6:15am local time. Schultz stars for Milton in Tom Lieder Invitational
Milton took second place as it hosted the Tom Lieder Invitational on Saturday. Lodi won the girls swim meet with 446 points, just above Milton's score of 431. Evansville's offense and defense shined in a season-opening win on the road against Clinton on Friday night. The Blue Devils scored four touchdowns as their defense held the Cougars scoreless in the 28-0 nonconference football win.
