DUNSEITH, ND ( KXNET ) — The International Music Camp is beginning Session Two and will have five programs for students to choose from to expand their musical and artistic talents.
The programs include concert band, dance (hip-hop intensive), drumline, digital photography, drama, and creative writing.
The session begins on June 23 and will last for a week, ending with a performance on June 29.
Digital photography will have an exhibit from 10 a.m. to noon in the Alme International Arts Centre.
Hip hop intensive will have its recital at 11 a.m. in the Burdick Center for the Performing Arts.
Creative writing readings will be at 12:30 p.m. in the Burdick Center for the Performing Arts.
Drumline’s exhibition will be at 1 p.m. and the band concert at 1:30 p.m. in the Masonic Auditorium. Dr. Corey Pompey will conduct the high school bands while Mr. Jason Rygg will conduct the middle school.
Things to do around town: June 17-23 Drama productions will finish the day at 2 p.m. in the Burdick Center for the Performing Arts.
On June 28, the IMC’s in-residence quintet will perform a variety of music from Baroque through Jazz. The group consists of Dr. Cory Driscoll, Scott Guidry, Arlene Shiplett, Dr. Joel Pugh, and Dr. Jacob Grewe.
All the events are subject to the International Peace Garden Gate fee, admission is $10 a person, per day or $50 for a family annual season pass.

Passports are not required to get in and out of the Peace Garden, but they are the preferred form of identification. If you do not have a passport, you will need a birth certificate for everyone in the vehicle and a photo ID for those older than 16. Each person is expected to present these documents.
