Louisiana state rep. arrested on DWI charge in Ascension Parish, state police say
GONZALES, La. — Louisiana State Representative Kendricks "Ken" Brass, D-Vacherie, was arrested on Friday for drunk driving, according to the Louisiana State Police. The incident happened shortly after midnight when a state trooper saw a "2018 GMC Yukon swerving in and out of the travel lane while traveling on LA 44 near Interstate 10 in Ascension Parish", the release said.

ST. GABRIEL, La. (WAFB) - A St. Gabriel police officer was arrested on multiple charges related to domestic abuse on Friday, July 26, officials say. According to authorities, the Gonzales Police Department responded to a call in connection to a disturbance at an apartment complex shortly before 2 p.m. on Friday. After an investigation, Ronald Monroe Jr., an officer with the St. Gabriel Police Department, was arrested.
