Cooper Flagg isn’t a household name yet, but the incoming Duke Blue Devils freshman will eventually be one of the most famous ballers in the country.

Over the weekend, Flagg got people’s attention during a scrimmage against LeBron James and Team USA, which is in the middle of their preparation for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.

Just 17 years old, Flagg appears to have respectably held his own against an elite squad composed of the likes of James, Anthony Davis, and Stephen Curry to name a few.

Speaking of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, James had a moment after the scrimmage with Flagg, and it’s got people buzzing online.

“Oh he a legit 6'9",” said one fan.

Another X (formerly Twitter) user shared a fun fact: “Cooper Flagg was born three years after LeBron was drafted.”

“LeBron is now playing against someone younger than his son,” another fan noted.

“So who’s been lying about Cooper Flagg being 6’10”?" another fan asked.

Meanwhile, this X user seemingly calls LeBron out for "recruiting for Bronny.”

And this fan predicts that Flagg will “save the league.”
