FORT GAY, WV (WOWK) — 18-year-old Bradee Vance received a wish from Make-A-Wish after he underwent a Kidney transplant. Not only did they grant his wish, but he now will also star in a segment on ESPN.

Back in March, Vance went to Durham to watch the UNC vs. Duke Game, where he was honored at center court, and introduced to the team.

How many Olympic gold medals does West Virginia have?

Alongside his family, Vance had another party with him as he had his wish granted. A camera crew from ESPN.

Vance was one of five Wish Kids selected to be a part of “My Wish,” a segment on SportsCenter that follows children with critical illnesses as they meet their sports heroes.

Vance’s segment airs on Tuesday, July 16, and will run during each SportsCenter show for the following 24 hours.
